I am traveling soon, down Savannah way to use the great facility at SCAD one more time. I am working on a new direction and will be posting some art soon. For now, here is a frame from the ill-fated "Where There's Smoke...There's Bob. (which recently has been digitized and will be up on this blog soon at well.

Getting back to a Damn Pencil
It has really been a long time since I have just sketched with a pencil (using a Wacom tablet almost exclusively at work). I have found that I am a bit rusty and that I really miss the variety of feel and moment so easily generated. So tired of the computers rendition of a line, and then tired of fixing a simple line electronically impaired. Hopefully the momentum with continue and the rust will fall.

Working out with a Pencil

As some of you may know I am about to embark on another massive waste of resources that is commonly associated with the production of an independent animated film. Jeez, another caveman thing, what a monumental surprise. Here are some preliminary sketches of one of the primary characters, Ooga-ooga. I am trying some different ideas here even within the same drawing. Decisions, decisions.
